[edit] How It All Began
It all began in 2003 when Kurt Krueger and Austin Clarke met at a illegal barn party. After a long discussion over cheap vodka talking about the copious amount of “punk by numbers” and “mum friendly” rock bands that were clogging up both the live circuit and the airwaves the two decided they would start their own band that would take inspiration from bands such as Iggy And The Stooges, New York Dolls, The Ramones, The Damned and T-Rex and make live shows both fun and exciting again!
Taking their Moniker from a nickname given to Kurt’s two mischeivous little sisters, The duo began recruiting other members. Things really got in to full swing once they discovered Angus Fearfull (yes that’s his real name!) a young talented Guitarist with a gift for wild solo’s who has worked with Ex-Marillion frontman Fish as a roadie. Next up was Chris Kinder a powerfull drummer with unique style and knowledge of beats.
Only months after their first real gig The Exorsisters had recived support slots with Heroes such as The Damned, The Buzzcocks, Trashlight Vision (featuring Acey Slade of The Murderdolls) and Antiproduct, each time getting praise for their onstage flare. As their material got more complex it became apparent they needed a second guitarist, so friend of the band Marco Galea stepped in just as the band entered Emergenza "The Worlds Biggest Unsigned Band" contest.
[edit] Emergenza
Dressed like a gang of teenage delinquents from a 1950’s b-movie they fought their way through to the Manchester Academy 2 Northwest final of Emergenza. They took to the stage with confidence, proudly playing their own High octane rock n' roll songs. Guitars held high, drums beaten to the point of breaking and Kurt dancing aross the stage and being surfed in to the audience, the band wowed judges and came first place! After an amazing show at the UK Finals at London Astoria the band continue to up the adrenaline levels even more at each new show.
