Mayo, Yukon

Mayo is a village in the Yukon, Canada, along the Silver Trail and the Stewart River. Population was 366 in 2001. It is also the home of the First Nation of Nacho Nyak Dun. It is serviced by Mayo Airport. It was formerly known as Mayo Landing.A meteorological note: In 1974, The town reported a barometric pressure of 31.530". This is quite high, even for strong Arctic High Pressure Centers.
