Talk:Mazda F engine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After buying a 1986 Mazda 626 about 4months ago and having a compression test and a dyno tune i have decided to option 1 replace the old motor with a new motor option 2 rebuild the old motor or option 3 upgrade to a bigger motor
these might seem drastic steps for such a old car but as the days go by i can see my tired motor starting to spring oil leaks and die in performance & eccomomy.
i was hoping to hear back from anyone who has ever done a 2.0L conversion to 2.2L conversion or just a 2.0L rebuild on these mazda motors.
After searching the net the best site i could find was the one i am on, if anyone could help with information, sites, info on the conversion etc could you please reply or send a e-mail to me personally at abj83@hotmail.com
Regards Adam
[edit] Variants and ill listing
There's a mess to be dealt with here - why are the F8 and F6 listed under the FE's heading? Yeah they're a variant of the FE, but so's the F2, and it gets its own section... could someone split these two engines into subsections too? --Carcenomy 09:38, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
