Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans

The Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans (MCLNO) is the official name of two hospitals in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The two hospitals are Charity Hospital and University Hospital. Both hospitals are teaching hospitals of the LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO), commonly referred to as the LSU Medical School in New Orleans.
There are currently plans to build a new modern hospital adjacent to the LSUHSC-NO medical school. If approved by the Louisiana State Legislature, such a hospital would replace Charity Hospital and University Hospital, and it would be known as the "Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans".
