[edit] discussion
"Just under half the seats" are sold at £1? Perhaps at first but surely no longer correct. Anyone know better? Shantavira 18:42, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- the cost is £1 if you book in advance on most routes (if not all?) with a 50p booking fee, though i bought a ticket London-Edinburgh about 8 hours before the journey and it cost £15, which still isn't bad at all. Marge4 02:48, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blatent Advert
This whole page seems to be a very obvious advert especially with that huge link at the top.
I suggest it be removed.--195.93.21.71 02:31, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
- Yes. Who would go to all this trouble to write about bus routes?! 160.81.133.194 21:51, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

- Bus geeks? Edward 09:39, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- I travel on Megabus a lot, and I find it pretty interesting to know more about the company I'm being served by - there's only limited information on their website. There is little advertising as such on the page - no claims of being cheaper, faster, more punctual or just generally better than any of its competitors; no exhortations to buy tickets; just plain information on the company and its services. I must also confess to 'bus-geekery' - I find the information on the different types of buses running Megabus routes interesting. Cammy 17:09, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Schedule update
I just learned that they are going to stop serving Columbus as of 6/4/06. [1] Ben moss 19:30, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Starting April 2nd there will be a hosting of new cities served, this needs to be updated.Changes can be found here [2] Sam metal 19:40, 28 February 2007 (UTC)sam metal
[edit] Coach crash
I have deleted incorrect information saying that Megabus.com's neoplan skyliners fleet were withdrawn. The coach involved in that a crash was NOT a megabus,it was a National Express coach. Megabus did NOT withdraw their fleet. They just checked over their fleet for faults. Thank you Olster99 19:54, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well spotted. Edward 23:55, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Updating the USA route charts
The route information paragraph near the top of the article has already been changed to reflect the addition (on April 2 2007) of service to Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Louisville and Ann Arbor, as well as the resumption of service to Columbus, Ohio; the route charts at the bottom, though, do not reflect those changes.
I may be inclined to edit those at some time if they're still unupdated (busy with other stuff right now); I don't want to screw up the format, though. Fatwa Dakkash 03:57, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
