Melissa DiMarco

Melissa DiMarco (born January 1, 1969 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian actress and television personality. She currently stars on Degrassi: The Next Generation as Ms. Hatzilakos. She also hosts, produces, writes and directs the program Out There with Melissa which documents the "behind the scenes" aspect of pop-culture entertainment reporting.
She also had roles in the soap opera Riverdale and the films Duct Tape Forever and Death to Smoochy. Before her acting career took off, she was also an entertainment reporter for CFMT in Toronto.
She attended Don Bosco Catholic Secondary School in Toronto. She was a top student with an A+ average and graduated valedictorian. She then attended York University, enrolling in the highly competitive BFA theater program.
