[edit] Perhaps Codex Magliabechiano??
In doing some research, I saw this image in a reference volume (don't have the name today - I'll get it the next time I visit the library) and it was labeled as being from the Codex Magliabechiano (in fact, folio 66r I believe).
Nanahuatzin, could you check your sources?? Thanks and sorry for the bother, Madman 17:50, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it turns out that Brian Fagan's 1991 Kingdoms of Glad, Kingdoms of Jade (Thames and Hudson, London) also says that this image is from Codex Magliabechiano (the first source was Clendinnen, Inga (1991) Aztecs: An Interpretation (Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, UK). That's two good sources, so I feel I need to change the Summary. Madman 01:42, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
