"The per capita income for the city is $17,500."
This is obviously wrong. A quick google suggests that the correct number is around $17,500. I don't know what the canonical source is for these numbers, but someone who does should correct this.

The first image on the article does not have a caption and therefore someone who had little or no knowledge of Merced would have no idea what this building is and why it is on the article. Please add a caption to this image. - Erebus555 16:21, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
I think that is the old County Courthouse. It was restored and earthquake-proofed in the 1980s, and turned into a museum. -- Jasper 19:10, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
