Actually, an Acura TL now would be in the same league as an E-Class, like the RL is to the CLS-Class. The TL is pricier than entry-level luxury cars, and is Acura's version of the popular Lexus ES. TL is a midsize, and RL is a lower fullsize. The CLS-Class is a lower fullsize, same to the RL, and both would be in the same league as a Lexus GS. The higher fullsize car from Mercedes-Benz, as we know is the S-Class (whose rival is the Lexus LS). The TL is more expensive than the ES, but is actually almost identical in length to the current E-Class. And the Acura TSX is longer than BMW 3 Series, Lexus IS or Mercedes-Benz C-Class, because they're entry-levels. Many know the 3 Series is more expensive than the C-Class, but those would be the TSX's main competitors. -- Bull-Doser 01:26, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Acura has nothing either priced near or comparable to the CLS, which is the essential equivalent to a BMW 650Ci with four doors. The RL is sized and priced right alongside other V6 luxury sedans, like the GS300 but much less expensive than the CLS, which starts at $15,000 more. The CLS is a personal luxury car, or at least a creation very close to that. The CLS is not similar to the RL or GS as both are sedans. Yes the CLS has four doors but if you look at the MB web-site its called a coupe. Bsedies it is to upmarket to be similar to the GS and to sporty to compete with the LS and other sedans like it. I have noticed that the first generation infobox belongs to the W210, that however, is incorrect the E-Class started before the W210 with the W124. Before the round "google-eyed" designed there was a much more angular vehicle also called the E-Class, the W124. Best Regards, Signature^brendel 16:50, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

The article tries to derive the E-Klasse lineage from the W120 - what's your opinion on that? Also, how about the W123? I think it was the first "mid-size" Mercedes to bear the "E" badging (although it did not stand for E-Klasse at that time). Bravada, talk - 07:00, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
