[edit] History
The airline was established in 2004 and planned to serve growing USA/Mexico cross border traffic. It was owned by Ash Huzenlaub (Ashco Group). [1] It planned to offer point-to-point international services only, and was not seeking point-to-point routes within the United States or within Mexico. [2]
Mexus Airlines ceased development efforts in early 2006 when the Ryan family of Ireland entered the market with their launch of "Viva Aero Bus." This fact can be learned via the official Ashco Blog at http://ashco.blogspot.com/2006/02/accolades-for-vivaaerobus-adios-mexus.html . Ashco Group now refers all interested passengers to the Viva Aerobus website for travel needs as stated in the aforementioned blog.
[edit] Services
Mexus Airlines aims to provide low fares from US cities such as Los Angeles, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas/Fort Worth - destinations which have strong business and cultural ties to Mexico. [3]
