Miami Beach Convention Center

Miami Beach Convention Center was an indoor arena in Miami Beach, Florida and it is currently the largest convention center in the Miami area. It hosted the 1968 and 1972 Republican National Convention as well as the 1972 Democratic National Convention. It was also site of the boxing match between then Cassius Clay and Sonny Liston in 1964.[1]
It hosted the ABA's The Floridians when they played in Miami. The arena held 9,500 people and was built in 1957.
It now features 4 large rooms each holding about 12000 people and holds various events throughout the year.
