Michael Brennan OAM (born October 15, 1975 in Toowoomba, Queensland) is a field hockey midfielder from Australia, who was a member of the team that won gold at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Four years earlier, when Sydney hosted the Summer Games, he finished in third spot with The Kookaburras , as the Men's National Team is called.
Brennan made his made his international debut when selected to compete at the 1996 Champions Trophy in Madras. He is nicknamed Mouse, and played club hockey for the Queensland Blades in his native country and for Oranje Zwart in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The Queenslander retired from international hockey in mid-2001 and completed his comeback into the national team by helping the Blades claim their second straight title in the Australian Hockey League.
