Michael C. Gross

Michael C. Gross is an American artist and film producer. He is best known for his work as Art Director for National Lampoon. He was hired in 1970, and his work first appeared in the "nostalgia" issue. He left the magazine in 1974 and formed Pellegrini, Kaestle, & Gross, Inc., which contributed to the magazine on special projects throughout the rest of the 1970s.
After that, he served as a producer and executive producer for several films, including Ghostbusters (for which he designed the "no ghosts" logo), Ghostbusters II, Twins, Beethoven, Legal Eagles, Kindergarten Cop and Dave. He was also the producer for The Real Ghostbusters and Beethoven for television.
He left the movie business in 1995 and moved to Italy to become a painter. He has since survived a bout with cancer, and he now lives in Oceanside, California. With partner Roberta Morgan, he produces the adult website Mikey and Mandy's Porn Emporium.
