Michael Duffy

Michael John Duffy ONZ (born 2 March 1938), Australian politician, was an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives for the Division of Holt from 1980 to 1996. He was the Attorney-General of Australia from 1990 to 1993.
On 6 February 1990, Duffy was appointed to the Order of New Zealand in recognition of work on the Closer Economic Relations agreement between Australia and New Zealand.[1]
He retired from politics when the ALP was defeated at the 1996 election.
Duffy is currently a member of the board of directors for Racing Victoria Limited.[2]
