Michael Jace

Michael Jace (born July 13, 1965) is an African-American actor, from Los Angeles, California. He is known for his current role as L.A.P.D. Officer Julien Lowe on the FX hit drama The Shield.
For a large proportion of his career Michael appeared in small roles on popular TV shows such as Nash Bridges, L.A. Law, Law & Order, ER and the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The Jem'Hadar". He also had just as small roles on high profile films like Forrest Gump and Boogie Nights. It wasn't until The Shield came along that Michael finally got his big break in the television and film industry.
