Michael Avery grew up in a small town in central Alabama. After taking a degree from God's Bible School and College in Cincinnati, OH he pastored with the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches for 11 years and held office as the General Missionary Secretary for 5 years. He is currently the President of God’s Bible School and College. He holds an additional degree from Wesley Biblical Seminary and maintains an active schedule of lecturing and public speaking. Michael is married to Ruth (Vernon), and together they have two sons: Joshua and Jonathan. Joshua holds a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and is a pursuing an M.A. at Miami University. Jonathan is married to Elisabeth (Clemens) and is soon to complete a B.S. at the University of Cincinnati.
