Michigan City High School is located in Michigan City, Indiana. At the end of the 2006 school year it held approximately 2000 students, in grades 9-12.
[edit] Buildings
The school is divided into several "buildings" or sections of the school. The 'A' or Academic Building contains two floors and holds all of the Mathematics, English, and Science classes, excluding special education.
The 'O' building contains ROTC, the Family and Consumer Science (home education) classes, and the daycare facility.
The 'P' or Performing Arts building holds the band rooms, the theatre rooms, auditorium, and several art rooms. It also houses Hogie's Boutique, the costume shop.
The newest building of the building is titled the 'N' or New Building and holds all of the foreign language and Social Studies classes.

MCHS provides classes in the subjects of:
- German, taught by Herr Ruth.
- French, taught by Madam Callaway.
- Japanese, taught by Tsugawa-sensei. (津川ーせんせい)
- Spanish, which has two teachers--Señora Bausback and Señora Williams.
