Microjoule is a team that builds ultra-efficient vehicles. The team has broken the world record for most efficient gasoline-powered vehicle three times:
- 1999. 9,845 miles per gallon.
- June 26, 2001. 10,227 miles per gallon at the annual Shell Eco-Marathon competition.
- July 9, 2003. 10,705 miles per gallon at the annual Shell Eco-Marathon competition
