65.165.135.218 I'm not sure why you chose to qualify the the statement about George W. Bush, i read the End of the World Prophesy article and it seems fairly clear from that source that George W. is indicated as "the desolator". Ignus 01:49, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
It is correct that I have clearly seen George Bush as the expression of the desolator. This is true. However, all cannot be contained in such a simple expression. It is like saying a tornado caused the destruction of a city. While that may be true, what caused the tornado were various air currents and temperature differentials. Weather fronts came together, and those weather fronts were caused by sea temps. My point is that George Bush is only a very small part of the overall destruction that is now occurring, so I hesitated to make it only him. I also pointed out that Israel was a very large part of American foreign policy and in being so became part of the desolator. Needless to say, Mr. Sharon has been left desolate. (Michael)

65.165.135.218 To someone not initiated into Travesser's thought process, the phrase, "the desolation of the desolator" is next to meaningless. Could you give some sort of brief definition? Such as, "the desolator, who is Satan," (for example... i don't know).Ignus 05:27, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Clarification Regarding prophesy, please
"Michael prophesies that this present year is the year of preparation before the year of rest which begins in the fall of 2006. In the fall of 2007 the year of Jubilee begins which ushers in the 1335 as prophesied by Daniel. To this group of people, that constitutes the end of the process in which they receive their "inheritance", which also includes the desolation of the earth, which is its inheritance."
The quotation above is very obscure to anyone not versed in the lingo familiar to Travesser & his followers (myself, for example) what is meant by "the year of Jubille"? what is meant by "1335 as prophesied by Daniel"? I don't object to the teachings being placed in the article, but more info is needed or they are all but meaningless Ignus 22:35, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

I attempted to clarify some of the edits by Anonymous 65.165.135.162 to be more comprehensible for a reader without a fair knowledge of Christian prophesy/doctrines etc. However, i may, as a result, have changed some of the meanings. Since a lot of the teachings seem to have come from 65.165.135.162's memory, i can't verify, however, no disrespect is intended.
I also removed some blatantly POV items, such as, "the Adventists didn't believe this verse meant what it said."

Following Anonymous 65.165.135.162's update 13:02, 10 May 2005 made the following revisions: Moved the bulk of the explanation of Michael the archangel as the Son of God appearing in Jesus, appearing in Travesser to the "teachings" heading so as not to plug up the lead paragraph.
Also edited for POV regarding the Adventists again: "Adventist Church ... resisted the idea that the Scriptures are exactly true as written". Every group that holds the Bible as their scriptures believes it to be "true as written" the meaning of this statement differes from group to group, however, giving rise to differing interpretations between groups and denominations.

The original article regarding Michael Travesser which was posted on Wikipedia was grossly inaccurate and came from a rumor site which quoted some media comments and guesses as the truth. I have attempted to make the comments here accurate as to the factual and actual data regarding this group and its present status.
- Anonymous 65.165.135.162 i'm hoping you'll check back here again in the near future. Are you a member of the Strong City group living at Travesser Creek? (i only ask because you appear to be strongly in favour of Travesser & his teachings). I do appologize for my "gross inaccuracies". I've had an interest in Michael Travesser for several years now, and so when i went to make this page, i attempted to use the site at http://michael.travesser.com, however i was disappointed to see that it had been taken offline. The new site, http://www.strongcity.com doesn't seem to have nearly as much info as the old one did. Do you know if Michael has stopped keeping a blog? Anyway, mostly what i wanted to say was that, although i don't Believe what Michael teaches, it was never my intention to be disrespectful to his teachings (as i know that they're important to many people), so if i came across in that manner, i appologize. Ignus: I have read over the information you now have on Wikipedia and find it as accurate as one can expect without being here themselves. I have offered a DVD with all of the past information from our site on the Web, but the nature of our site has now changed because the times have changed. I do appreciate your work for the encyclopedia and I am very content with what anyone might say about me; I would just prefer it to be true. There is so much misinformation about everyone in the world now, that it would do all men good to just tell the truth for a change. The truth may hurt, but it doesn't kill one who is willing to listen to it. As a cult member, as Travesser normal faith is called by the adversary, I can share some experience. After 4 years of being a Son of God as Michael said the ones that understand Messiah is.
After a month in finding Strongcity in 2002 I would get the anointment myself. The experience is like a new man is born, although it was always there. It is more a matter of consiousness. I live in Europe, the Netherlands, so God gave me a position overhere as I understand about the position Michael and his friends have in USA. All hero's from history in my country came talking to me, I talk to the death always and there is no difference between Heaven and Earth. Best friend I found in History was Prince Maurits, the Prince the Orange. Heaven is in a way in the intellectual, the Papist Hater lives there also.
But with me is the same as Michael. Christians hate me, but Satanists respect my knowledge. Sure, I can talk to God, talking to Satan is much more easy as talking to God, so satanists obey always because afraid of Hellfire. It looks like Christians do not believe Hellfire exists, but all satanists know what I is talking about. Christians that not understand Travesser do not obey, although they have to, in order to stop their blasphemy. God has to kill all people, can use some help mostly by Satan. To much people on this planet. All rebellious people I meet, every man and woman, they hate truth. God will only convert a few, maybe only 144000 on all planet.
I thank Wikipedia for respectfull story overhere. I will kick any ass that doesn't!

I have been following Michaels websites since 9/11 and I can testify that he does have the spirit of the son of God in him. I don't expect readers to believe me. I am just stating my honest opinion based on my experiences with God The Father. Many did not believe in Chrsit the first time he was here on earth, some called him "a devil" others called him "a false Messiah" and so on. What they missed is the spirit IN HIM. God's chossen are not known by their flesh or by their ancestral backgrounds but by the spirit of God in them. If you can not recognise the character "image" of God in the flesh, at least recognise the Messiah by the words he speaks. Then you will know if what he says is the sprit of truth or the spirit of error.
When we are born and grow up in this world we are molded after the ways of this world, the spirit of this world. This is where God comes in. We need to become like little children again, by having our memmory of passed religious teachings erased so we will be able to ACCEPT CORRECTION from God.
...and when we are BORN AGAIN [remolded from above] we receive the spirit of God in us and we all become ONE in Christ [by putting on Christ], having the same mind as Christ's because NOW we are guided by the Holy Spirit instead of the spirit that is in this world.
And NO, I do not live with Michael and those who are with him in the flesh, but I am with them in spirit and truth because we all share "the mind of Christ" because we all receive the same message since we have "put on Christ" and do not follow after the ways of this world. "By their fruits ye shall know them".

[edit] An Encyclopedia is a Source Of Information
I have searched various pages in this encyclopedia and find useful information on almost every topic. I have not discovered that the information offered was considered proselytizing. That spin could not possibly be construed from this present offering considering Michael, except from one who is very sensitive to be converted to something. I have read Catholic sites among others with information helpful to the description of the religious belief. One need not be so sensitive with this particular page, for there is very little information on it to explain much of anything at all. It must have a ring of truth to raise the feathers of anyone. Consider any information regarding Michael Travesser on this page to be purely informational, instead of the usual fare of receiving disinformation as information. I am happy to set the record straight, instead of having to read what was originally posted on this page, which was almost completely wrong information. The original post here did manage to spell the name "Michael" correctly. October 17, 2005

I have added a little more information in regard to the prophecy stated here because of a request that it did not make clear the beliefs of the Travesser group/cult. It seemed too brief, thereby making the mention of it useless for information. By adding a little more, it should clarify somewhat, without making it a bible study.

Anyone who can set aside their stupid selfish opinions and arbitrary judgements, who take on the helmet of objectivity can clearly, clear as pure glass see that Travesser is The Messiah, and the spirit that will take over the entire universe as we can define with our weak understandings. Ones ability to parse truth is the only salvation one can find.
Michael has clearly pointed out the sorceries of our works and some just don't like the fire.
I am no Christian, or any flavor of a good man. I am just Jim. However, I implore one to consider the line asked by a man a few days back asking 'What is truth?'. This man asked Jesus this, you remember the story.
Point is this - Do you know truth when you hear it? Do you succumb to truth out of force with an internal dislike or do you go to truth like bugs fly to light? Does it matter if a 'cult leader' proclaims truth or a terrorist?
Rather than debate mindless arguments as all the fools of this world love, let us rather consider the logical deductions of the truth freely given to us as meat to eat so that we can become full and not found wanting.
