If you are correct - How can I tell! See policy in link above. This being a public domain encyclopedia anyone can make these claims. How do we "know" this to be the case. I have only seen reference in web based locations to a son. Please state you claim, i.e. give sources etc. or we have to assume this is "spam". :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page) 15:55, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Fair point - I shall continue procrastinating whilst i should be revising and endeavour to provide you with necessary facts to prove my own existence! (interesting!)
- If you are who you say - this would be an interesting philosphical question - when am I who I say I am? But hopefully you can see my reluctance to let "anyone" claim to be some one of note or connect to such a person. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page) 16:13, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

- Talking of which, are you by any chance related to Carenza Lewis? I know her hubby posted for a while on a well-known and related forum a couple of years ago. You could, perchance be the same Mr Lewis? Bruce, aka Agendum | Talk 12:45, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- not that I know of, but we haven't completed our family tree so who knows. Actually there are quite a few Lewis's about to so isn't too likely. Also I'm not even sure if "Lewis" is her given name or marital one. I assume by the way you talk probably her marital one. It might be nice to know. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page) 14:32, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

- Verifable refernce to a book should be suffient. Although offical style web source would be quicker. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page) 16:10, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Hmm, this task is turning out to be rather tricky! I am starting to doubt my own existence... Does it need to be a web based source? I believe that one or two of his early books are dedicated to both myself and my brother. I shall find out which. (to previous message) I am sure that if one traced their family tree back far enough they would be amazed at who they were distantly related to. Could be quite scary.
Mick has a son, James, by Carinne Allinson, who also has two other children by other fathers. Carinne's eldest child, Kathryn, was reared as Mick's daughter, but is in fact his step-daughter. Mick's book Monasteries (Batsford 1993) was dedicated to James and Kathryn. --Genie 16:14, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
