Mike Newlin

Michael F. Newlin (born January 2, 1949 in Portland, Oregon) is a former NBA basketball player. A feisty 6'4" guard from the University of Utah, he played 11 professional seasons (1971-1982), spending time with the Houston Rockets, New Jersey Nets, and New York Knicks. He had his finest season in 1980-1981, when he averaged 21.4 points per game for the Nets, and he retired in 1982 with 12,507 career points.
Newlin currently lives in Sugar Land, Texas.
