Porter Michael "Mike" Peterson (born June 17, 1976 in Gainesville, Florida) is an American football linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL. He has also played for the Indianapolis Colts. He attended the University of Florida where he accepted the scholarship to be a quarterback but he decided to play middle linebacker. Attended Santa Fe High School where he was a standout Football and Basketball Career. Santa Fe High School recently retired his number.
Peterson is the older brother of Chicago Bears running back Adrian Peterson.
