Milford Graves

Milford Graves (born August 20, 1941) is a free jazz drummer who plays several different kinds of percussion of origins throughout the world. He was born in the Jamaica neighborhood in Queens, New York City and lives and teaches there to this day.
He has recorded or performed with Albert Ayler, the New York Art Quartet, John Zorn, and others. Graves teaches at Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont.
