Copyvio

Unfortunately, a copyvio from www.miley-cyrus.com/bio.php was added and there were several edits since the addition of the copyvio. I've reverted to the last version at 3:56, April 20, which was the latest non-copyvio version I could find. Miley is currently listed in the Christian musicians category. This section does not state JUST artists who currently make Christian music, but also people who are Christians but do not make music for the Christian market, such as Isaac Slade (the lead singer of The Fray), and Bono from U2. Hrm... I'm not entirely sure how reliable that site is (musicsquare), as they're not citing sources. They look to be a chart site first and an informational (about the musician) site second. I was thinking something where she says she's a christian, like a news article, so we can get a nice in-line ref for it. I agree it deserves mention if it's important to her, though I suspect Disney'd keep that on the QT to avoid loosing non-religious fans. Ahh, the Disney machine. Faith is a big part of Miley's life. She mentions that the only book she has been reading lately is Girl Talk With God, a book about a teen girl's conversations with God.

See, since Franklin is pretty much a suburb of Nashville, they may just list that Miley was born in Nashville for a bit more privacy. But the Philadelphia Inquirer as I said before had an interview with Miley and said that she was born in Franklin. If you want to put an image...

Make sure it is appropriately tagged.
If needed, make sure it has a fair use rationale.
No images of Hannah Montana, only of Miley Cyrus (or Miley Stewart, if no appropriate picture can be found).
Should only be of Miley Cyrus, not with extra people in it.

Images not following these guidelines will be propmtly removed until the problem is fixed.

i read somwhere that she has what's called lingual abraces, which are, you guessed it, braces that go on the back of your teeth, so somtimes she talks "funny"

she wears invisaligine. the braces which are just like plastic-coverings over your teeth. part of it goes over the roof of you mouth and thats why she talks funny. because shes afraid to wear real braces on TV.

Family

Some IMDB contributors claim that Tish is her stepmom and all of her sibs are either half- or step-siblings. Whereas Miley does not speak of them as such. Which is more accurate? If Tish is her mom then she was born out of wedlock. If Tish is her stepmom then nobody knows who her mom is so she can't be described as illegitimate. Also Miley does have a fifth sibling, an older half-brother from Billy Ray's first marriage, named Christopher - probably does not live with the Cyruses. Wouldn't the discography section be more suitable in the main Hannah Montana article, or possibly Hannah Montana discography? This article is about Miley not Hannah... see Lizzie McGuire discography and Hilary Duff discography and compare between the two, for example.

Miley's height?

It says Miley's height is 5'5. Where did this info come from? Ichigo's Momomiya's #1 FAN! 21:02, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't think that's possible. Remember, IMDb says Hilary Duff is 5' 5", when she is really 5' 1" (she has said so herself many times). Some things to think about: 1) the guy who plays her brother is 5' 3" and looks taller than Miley, 2) Emily Osment and Miley Cyrus are only about an inch and a half apart, when Miley's not in heels (she is almost always in heels on the show), AND 3) Haley Joel Osment's records from his DUI indicate he is 5' 4". Emily is a lot shorter than he is, so she is probably 4' 11" to 5' 0", meaning Miley is around 5' 1" (this does not mean she's not 5' 5" with her heels; this is her height without shoes). However, since height is not encyclopedic, Miley herself has not given a height, and she is only 14 years old and probably not even done growing yet, I am removing the height from her page.
