- I made a few spelling corrections. [edit] Remove History of Towns
Since this article is about the City of Miramichi, and not about the towns that formed it. I plan to remove the history section which includes those details, move the info to the specific town pages, and add more material about the current city. - I think there should be a brief (1-2 paragraph) history of the area in general pre-amalgamation. Of course, more detailed info should go in the articles for Newcastle, Chatham, etc. See Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia for an idea of what I mean. Otherwise, readers might get the impression that the city just sprang up in the woods in 1995. Kirjtc2 22:59, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. I think a brief summary of the different parts would work well. I'll just make sure to link to the specific pages in the summaries so that they can get more details if they wish. I mean, some pre-city history just isn't possible to avoid, so it might as well be included. --Son0rouS 04:38, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
