The episode opens with Mimi and Mr. Wick playing hide and seek until Mimi gets a phone call from Winfred-Louder. It is revealed that all of the decisions that Mr. Wick was supposedly making for the store were actually being thought up by Mimi. Mr. Wick announces that he is ready to return to the store, but Mimi tricks him into thinking that there is another storm outside. At Drew's house, Drew is questioning Lewis about the sweater he is wearing since he wants to impress Nicki who will be coming over. Kate and Oswald continue to hide their relationship, even though both of them are wearing each other's clothes. Nicki then stops by to tell Drew that his new neighbors are moving in so she will not be stopping by his house anymore. When Larry orders pizza and nobody has any money, Drew is embarrassed when Nicki has to pay for them. Drew also realizes he is losing his chances with Nicki when he gets called in to work for the weekend.

At Winfred-Louder, Drew discovers a lot of changes to the store that appear to appease and benefit Mimi. He is supposed to wear a suit shaped like a billboard and he sees another employee dressed as a troll doll. When Drew questions Mimi about the various changes, she fires him with authority of Mr. Wick. When security arrives to escort Drew out of the office, he ends up getting them to chase him around the office. At the Warsaw Tavern, Kate and Oswald tell Lewis that they are dating and he flips over the table they are sitting at in response. When Kate and Oswald attempt to tell Drew, he will not listen since he is so upset about losing his job. Drew gets his rent payment from Larry, but Larry ends up paying the full amount of the mortgage for him. When Nicki discovers Drew does not have a job, she says she will not go out with him on a date since he is unemployed.

Drew and Lewis go to Mimi's apartment to confront her for firing him and discover that the only person in the apartment is Mr. Wick. Drew and Lewis find some devices that Mimi was using to trick Mr. Wick into thinking that there is a storm outside. They tell him the truth and when Mimi arrives, she attempts to convince him to stay. Drew tells Mr. Wick that he is not getting the credit for the store's success, so he should return. Mr. Wick kisses Mimi and also gives Drew his job back. Back at Drew's house, Drew discovers that Larry is dressed as a pimp and buying him large amounts of gift, including a big-screen TV. Everything starts looking good for Drew when Nicki comes over and says that she is willing to go out with him and Kate and Oswald are finally able to announce that they are dating. However, a few seconds later, DEA agents burst in through the front door and arrest everyone, as Larry has been selling drugs from Drew's house to earn his large amount of money. Drew's new neighbors come over to introduce themselves, only to find everyone on the floor with guns pointed at their heads. The show concludes with mug shots of the group of friends.
