Miss California's Outstanding Teen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Miss California's Outstanding Teen pageant is the competition that selects the representative for the state of California in the Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant.
Although Miss America state pageants used to run unofficial teen competitions, Miss America's Outstanding Teen was first official teen pageant associated with the Miss America Organization and the first for which there was a national competition. The first national pageant was held in August 2005.
Unlike Miss America there is no swimwear component of the competition: delegates compete in interview, evening gown, sportswear and talent.
