Miss Czech-Slovak USA, the largest Czech-Slovak ethnic pageant in the United States takes place in Wilber, Nebraska the first full weekend of August each year. Young women of Czech and Slovak descent who are legal United States citizens represent their state's Czech/Slovak communities at this event. Contestants compete in four categories: On Stage Interview, Private Interview, Talent, and Kroj (traditional costume) modeling. The founder of the pageant is John Fiala. Current director is Korina Molacek. The pageant takes place during Wilber Czech Days.
