[edit] Opinion on Wikipedia

I have found Wikipedia to be an excellent and very useful source for school research and nearly everything else that concerns research. It has helped many students around the globe with its articles.

As a free encyclopedia, I understand that it is subject to vandalism from time to time. It would be a shame, in my opinion, that Wikipedia might eventually shut down due to overexcessive vandalism (face it, there are many hackers and vandals on the Internet, and there are sites that shut down due to vandalism). I will do my best to prevent vandalism in all articles I have edited, especially those that are of my interest.

When editing articles or uploading pictures on the English Wikipedia, I try as much as possible to do the following:

• Ensure that proper English is used
• Ensure proper punctuation
• Cite my sources, where applicable
• Not to vandalize

Note: The gauge on the right will change with my moood.

Although I would usually rectify errors on every page that I visit, pages related to the following get a higher priority and I would check on them more often:

• any article relating Popes of the Roman Catholic Church.
• any article that is based on Canadian politics.
• any history-related articles.
