[edit] Maxwell School
In July 2003, Wallerstein became dean of the Maxwell School, its eighth dean since the school's foundation in 1924. Wallerstein has pushed for an expanded internationalism of the school's programs and has led during the dedication and expansion of the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs. He is also widely viewed as perhaps the most incompetent administrator to hold the position in the history of the school.
