Mitsuwa Marketplace (Chicago Store)

Mitsuwa Marketplace is a Japanese shopping center located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. It is referred to as Mitsuwa Marketplace - Chicago. It is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and stays open on all holidays.

- Mitsuwa is the largest Japanese Marketplace in the Midwest USA. The Chicago store is one of two that are located east of the Rockies.
- This Mitsuwa, like those in other states, was formerly known as Yaohan.
- Mitsuwa is part of a number of Japanese businesses located in Arlington Heights, the others being primarily Japanese Restaurants.
- "True World Market" has a sister store, called "One World Market" that remains open in Novi, Michigan, near Detroit.

The food court has many traditional foods, such as sushi, tempura, noodles, etc. The restaurants are:
- Otafuku-tei
- Kayaba
- Santoka Ramen
- Jockey

Mitsuwa also has a travel agency named JTB.

There are two entertainment shops in Mitsuwa. They are:
- JBC Video (Japanese video rental store)
- Sanseido Book Store (Japanese book shop)

A cell phone store is also located there too. It is called Galaxy Wireless.

Mitsuwa had a china store called Utsuwa no Yakata. This store is closed as of April 1, 2006, and will be replaced by another business that is set to open on April 30, 2006.

There are two great shops for one's health and body needs. They are:
- Shiseido (Japanese cosmetics store)
- Super Health (vitamins and other health supplements)

There is also a Japanese realty shop called Suzuki Realty.
