Mithril Cloud is a Filipino wikipedian, currently specializing in articles related to Philippine Lasalliana. He was originally named as Mithril tdd1, a reference to the anime, Full Metal Panic! He is currently studying at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in Manila.

Mithril is a fictional paramilitary anti-terrorist organization that has technology ten years ahead of time. The Tuatha De Danaan (TDD-1) is an advanced submarine operated by Mithril. Both are terms from the anime, Full Metal Panic!

This wikipedian started contributing info when he saw the Mapua Institute of Technology page severely lacking. He felt sad that the article was just a stub back then, so he decided to fill it with relevant info until it became a true article, and was glad when the stub marker was finally removed. He registered in Wikipedia as Mithril tdd1 on October 2005, thinking that the username is different from the actual name shown, he was on a FMP fix when he decided on a Wikipedia username at the time so he chose Mithril and TDD1. In July 2006, upon realizing that his username was awkward, he requested a name change to Mithril Cloud, with "Cloud" being a reference to Cloud Strife of Final Fantasy VII.
