"mainly centred in Southern England"? I recall Mod Revivalism being rather strong on Teesside at the time and there's even a Jam theme bar in Hartlepool. Would suggest alternative wording.
- It was spread about the place, but the bulk of it seems to be in the Home Counties, and south of the Midlands. At least that's my take. The Northern Soul connection is interesting, and I think that The Jam were involved in that, but they were hardly a northern English band. --MacRusgail 21:36, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
The Mod Revivial spread to the USA as well. As early as 1978-79, there were youth who called themselves Mods in all major metropolitan areas. The bulk of the US movement lasted until about 1988, but there are still some diehards today. GregCovey 21:46, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
