Moe drawing (萌え絵) is a technique often used (but not limited to) for drawing bishōjo, describing character illustrations of moe. It is very common in manga and anime.

Typical styling cues include:
- Big eyes
- Big pupil and Iris
- Thin eye brows
- Double eye lids
- Short body figure
- Slim limbs
- Small simple nose
- Flat face
- Slim body frame
[edit] Eye characteristics
The transparent feel of the pupils and the star-like reflections in the eyes are often exaggerated, regardless of surrounding lighting. Sizes of pupils are also exaggerated.
