The music of Mohabbatein was composed by Jatin Lalit and lyrics were provided by Anand Bakshi. The playback singers include Lata Mangeshkar, Udit Narayan, Jaspinder Narula, Shweta Pandit, Sonali Bhatawdekar, Pritha Mazumdar, Udhbav, Manohar Shetty, and Ishaan. There are a total of six songs in the album.

- This was the first film for Shweta Pandit, Sonali Bhatawdekar, Pritha Mazumdar, Udhbav, Manohar Shetty & Ishaan. Yash Chopra wanted fresh voices for the fresh faces he was using to portray the three young couples.
- Shweta Pandit is the niece of Jatin Lalit.
