Born in 1976 in the city of Torbat-e Jaam in the northeastern province of Khorasan,started his musical training at the age of 12. studied singing under supervision of "Nasrollah Nasehpour" from 1988 to 1992. Since then, he has composed many songs for a dozen films and many more plays. His voice appears in many of his compositions.he's created a new style in iranian traditional music.
1993 to present: Around 40 Individual performances as vocalist, setar player, songwriter, lyricist
2001 to 2003: 15 concerts as singer, songwriter, setar player, and with the alternative rock band Mud
1996 to 2000: Over 20 concerts as vocalist, artistic director, and manager of world music ensemble DafDaf, experimenting with Persian traditional music boundaries
1994 to 1997 – Tehran University, Faculty of Fine Arts Studied harmony under supervision of " Shahin Farhat", "Azin Movahed" and "Alireza Mashayekhi"
1988 to 1993 – Persian Traditional Vocal (with Nasrollah Nasehpour)
