Mok

The Chinese family name Mok (莫) is pronounced in Mandarin "Mò" (4th tone), in Cantonese "Mok" (6th tone), and in Hmong Moua, Mua, or Muas.
As Chinese family names go, Mok is relatively rare, ranked 168th in order of frequency in the Bai Jia Xing (百家姓; pinyin: bái jiā xìng). In 2004, there were an estimated 73,000 people with the surname of Mok abroad and 15,400,000 Moks in China.
