Molde archipelago
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Molde archipelago is a chain of about 50 idyllic wood-clad islands and islets, 2 km south the city of Molde, Norway. The archipelago is public, protected land, and a renowned recreational resort. The main island, Hjertøya, hosts the Museum of Fisheries, a collection of maritime culture from the 17 and 1800s, and is serviced by water taxi from Molde.
Access to the islands is free and unrestricted, but in compliance with the guidelines of Molde's Park and Environmental Department.
