[edit] Plot
Molly Moon is an orphaned girl who was dumped at Harwick House Orphanage in a box of Moon's Marshmallows. She has had a miserable experience there ever since. One day, she finds a book of hypnotism at the library, and is soon across the Atlantic Ocean in New York City, making a new life for herself as an actress. Soon however, her pug Petula is kidnapped and she is forced to rob a bank if she ever hopes to see her again. She and her childhood friend Rocky Scarlet stop the kidnapper, hypnotize him, and return to Hardwick House to help the children living there.
