[edit] Discography
In their 7 year career as a band Moneyshot has released three albums and an EP. The first two albums: "A Vision Of Things To Come"(1999) and "Just Past Now"(2001) were energetic raw basement punk sounding records that sold small numbers of copies around BC. The EP that followed, entitled "Amped"(2003) was a definite step up in production value, and started to garner the band considerable local attention on local radio and in the media. The hockey themed single "Blades Of Steel" received heavy local airplay, and was featured on various stations across Canada. The album charted on the Earshot Top 200 and landed the band showcases at New Music West, Canadian Music Week and tour dates with bands like No Means No, The Headstones, DOA, No Use For A Name, and The Black Halos. Their latest album "Cowboys & Angels"(2005) took a decidedly more rock 'n roll direction; and although fairly well received locally, it didn't do much to increase the buzz their previous EP had created. According to their website, a new album is in the works and will be released later this year.
