Montebello Town Center
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Montebello Town Center is a shopping mall located mostly within the city limits of Montebello, California. A small portion of it's eastern side is actually within the city limits of Rosemead, California. It is managed by The Macerich Company. It is nestled up against the hills in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, 8 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. The mall serves this ethnically diverse trade area with four department stores (JCPenney, 2 Macy's and Mervyn's) and 160 shops, eateries and restaurants. A Robinson's-May store was formerly located at the Montebello Town Center, but was closed in 2006 and was subsequently turned into a Macy's Home department store. It remains the long-standing sales per square foot leader in the San Gabriel Valley.[citation needed] The mall is located directly adjacent to the Highway 60 Pomona Freeway.
