Montechiaro d'Asti is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 35 km east of Turin and about 13 km northwest of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,412 and an area of 10.1 km2.[1]
Montechiaro d'Asti borders the following municipalities: Camerano Casasco, Chiusano d'Asti, Cortanze, Cossombrato, Cunico, Montiglio Monferrato, Soglio, and Villa San Secondo.
