Montini Catholic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Montini Catholic is a High School, located in Lombard, Illinois. It opened its doors in September of 1966. It is named after Pope Paul VI, formerly John Baptist Montini, who was elected the year the school was first planned. Of the 5,000 students who have graduated Montini Catholic, 98% have gone on to college. The school was originally segregated between girls and boys by a barrier through the school only to be crossed to celebrate mass.
Montini has had success athletically particularly in wrestling, which is currently ranked 6th in the nation, and a dance team which has won numerous state titles in a small conference. Other successes include a school-average ACT score two or so points above the nation-wide average.
