[edit] Spam?
Am removing "A conceptual look at how the coins may appear have been designed and released by an online store called the Noble Collection and an image of their rendition of the coins can be found here; http://noblecollection.com/catalog/popup.cfm?id=NN7234.bmp" as clear, although well included, spam. Indeed the rendition of that peculiar store is quite suspicious as if we went from the actual value given by Mrs J.K. Rowling of 5 £ for a Galleon made of gold the actual weight of the coin for it not to exceed its value in terms of materials would be of about 0,5g or 1/60th of an ounce which would mean a very small coin. --Darak 217.136.77.15 11:05, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fact and Fiction
Somebody added a tag which calls for a clear distinction between fact and fiction, this article may require cleanup. Is this required? I think it is clear from the article that these are elements from the book. After that somebody threw out almost the whole article which seems certainly unjust. [edit] bronze Knuts
When I checked this article and saw that Knuts were referred to as being copper, this didn't seem right. I just double-checked all 6 books. In the first, third and fifth books, there are scattered references to them being bronze, but in all 6 books I couldn't find anything to support the idea that they're copper. It's possible that the word "bronze" is referring to the colour rather than the material they're made from, but without any evidence to the contrary, I'd say that it's best to have the article reflect what the books say, rather than unconfirmed conjecture. - Ugliness Man 12:52, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
