Moss Side railway station is on The Blackpool South to Preston Line.
During the rail restructuring of the 1960s and 1970s, Moss Side was closed along with Wrea Green station in the neighbouring village. Moss Side was re-opened in 1983.
2,851 passengers used the station in 2004-5.
