My name is Andrew, I am an undergraduate mathematics student at UCSC focused on topology so far. Outside of classes, I have interest in linkages and in expander graphs. I am also interested in teaching, in curriculum reform at the university level, and hope to combine these interests in a professorship someday.
I am excited to participate in Wikipedia. Obviously Wikipedia's intrinsic structure keeps it from being the most reliable source on any given subject. I have doubts about its future too. As the information fills out, less positive activity will be possible, thereby increasing the ratio of vandals to those who fight entropy. Anyway, as is there's an enormous amount of information here. I think the responsible reader can gain a lot from this collection of knowledge.

"If there is a God, surely He is contemptuous of Christians, those who claim to know Him through a litany of dogma, who unscrupulously utter His name in the most mundane of circumstances, who believe living lackluster lives will earn them His eternal praise. Then I will take the foolproof position of believing in no God. If I am correct then there is no harm done. And if I am wrong then I will be rewarded for my independence and for living a natural and entertaining (to Him) life".
