Mount Soyat

Mount Soyat is a prominent mountain in Antarctica. 2,150 m, in western Wisconsin Range, rising on the east side of Reedy Glacier just north of the junction of Norfolk Glacier. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Commander David Soyat, U.S. Navy, air operations officer with Squadron VX-6 at McMurdo Station, winter 1962.
