Movie Job is the ninth episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. It first aired on March 28th, 2004.
[edit] Plot synopsis
Josh surprises Drake by announcing that he got a job at the local movie theater, The Premiere. Drake, jealous of the high pay, decides to get a job there as well. Drake, an instant favorite with his boss, Helen, receives a coveted job as Assistant Manager, angering Josh.
Josh, wanting his boss to notice him, comes up with an idea to drum up business and increase interest in popcorn sales; however, the promotion backfires, and people are hurt fighting over popcorn buckets in an attempt to get the golden balls that award the bearer free movies for a month. Paramedics are called in, and Helen demands to know who was responsible for the incident. Rather than allowing Josh to be fired, Drake lies and implicates himself as the creator of the promotion.

- When Drake lets Megan into a PG-13 movie, he tells Helen they were from Norway, so it actually meant PG-9. This was a double reference to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, as the movie was originally rated M (Pg-13) in Australia, and was given a special rating of 9 in the Netherlands.
- First apperance of Coco and coming soon her little brother Fudgie.
- Fist appearance of Crazy Steve
