This is Windows XP with the offical Windows XP Media Center Edition (Energy Blue or Royale Theme) Theme. [1]

I updated this image to match the new wikipedia main page. However, since my display was at resolution 1280 x 1024, the file is a bit larger now. Revert if you want to.--Frenchman113 on wheels! 19:48, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Either make a good screenshot or stop reverting
The subpixel hinting is more important than the default Windows XP theme, as well as the resolution (800x600). If you had a monitor with BGR subpixel ordering, or vertical subpixels, the text in the image would become unreadable, and it is difficult for users with CRT monitors to view (as it appears fuzzy). As well, users with monitors whose resolutions are set at 1024x768 or smaller will not see the entire image if it is larger than 800x600, and the thumbnails lose detail as the resolution increases. This is unacceptable! Extensions should also not make visible changes to the interface. If you want a screenshot that uses the default Windows XP theme, then make one that is worthwhile. You can't just grab a shot from however you've set up your machine and then expect it to suffice.—Kbolino 15:03, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New version, high res, shows features
I uploaded a version at 1920x1200 that shows off some nice features of firefox: tabbed browsing and the find feature, which is very different from the find feature on IE6. I don't use subpixil rendering, as I do have a CRT (16:10 CRT). Feel Free to revert of course, but please leave a good reason. -Aknorals 11:35, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

When Firefox 2 comes along, we're going to need a new screenshot. The firefox 2 default theme, is optimized for Windows Vista Standard/Aero Glass, and therefore should be taken using one of those two themes. Thank you. -KingpinE7
