Mr. & Mrs. Smith is a 1941 screwball comedy film directed by Alfred Hitchcock and written by Norman Krasna.
The movie starred Carole Lombard and Robert Montgomery as Ann and David Smith, married lawyers who discover that they are not actually married. This gives them second thoughts as to whether they should stay together or not. Gene Raymond stars as a friend and colleague of David who begins to woo Ann.
